We’re excited to announce that we now offer pre-employment verification and background screening services through our partnership with Crimcheck. Crimcheck’s strong commitment to protecting businesses by providing affordable, automated, fast and accurate background checks provides a necessary tool for our customers.

Our partnership with Crimcheck gives you the ability to order, manage and track background screening components for job candidates right from your HiringThing dashboard . Pre-employment screening solutions are now available to our customers by simply logging into your HiringThing account. Background check services include:

• Criminal background searches
• Motor vehicle records
• I-9 Compliance
• Employment and education verification

Applicants receive a self-service background check link to complete–saving your staff time and money in the pre-employment screening process. With features like E-signature authorizations and free Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) action letter support, legal compliance becomes a seamless step in your onboarding process.

Bad hiring decisions can be expensive and expose employers to risk. Conducting a background check as part of the pre-employment screening process means you can reduce your legal liability, provide a safe work environment for all of your employees and avoid on the job criminal behavior.

How do I get started?

Simply login to your HiringThing account and select an applicant you’d like to request a background check from. You can select ‘Background Check Request’ from the ‘Send’ menu in the applicant viewer. We have 3 different packages:

• Basic Package: Includes criminal background check, SSN trace, sex offender check.
• Basic Package + Driving Record: All items above plus driving record check.
• Complete Package: All items above plus education verification and employment verification.

That’s it! Once you’ve selected a package, we’ll send the background check request to your applicant, and notify you in the dashboard when the request is complete.
