HiringThing Wins More Globee® Awards in 2022!

Written by Pat Brothwell | July 1, 2022

HiringThing Won Two Golden Globee® Awards in The American Best in Business Award Program that Reflect a Stellar Year

We’re not ones to brag (well, maybe a little), but despite a challenging hiring landscape, HiringThing had an unprecedentedly successful 2021.

What do we think drove this recent success? Our recent Globee® Award wins have validated that it’s been a combination of the fantastic team we’ve put together combined with being the only private label applicant tracking system (ATS) of our caliber. HiringThing goes beyond the typical white-label branding by offering our partners a robust tech platform and open API (allowing them to fully transform the recruiting solutions they can use or offer their customers).

This year, HiringThing has won two Gold Globee® Awards in the 7th Annual 2022 American Best in Business Awards. HiringThing won for “Achievement On the Rise” and “Platform as a Service.”

What are the Globees®?

The Globee® Awards are the world’s premier business awards consisting of nine award programs. Globee Awards are conferred in nine programs and competitions: including the American Best in Business Awards program, which recognizes the achievements of the country’s top executives, employees, teams, company performance, and products & services.

Last year, HiringThing won two Gold Globee® Awards for Company of the Year in the Cloud Computing/SaaS/Internet category, along with Most Effective Use of HR Technology.

Our 2021 Gold Globee® Wins: Golden Bridge Business and Innovation Awards

We’re thrilled to announce that HiringThing has been awarded two Gold Globee® Awards in the 13th Annual 2021 Golden Bridge Business and Innovation Awards. We were named Company of the Year in the Cloud Computing/SaaS/Internet category as well as the Most Effective Use of HR Technology. Despite the pandemic, we’ve enabled 50% more employers, representing 5,000+ businesses, to streamline their hiring process in the last year.

The coveted annual Golden Bridge Awards program recognizes and honors the world’s best in organizational performance, products and services, innovations, executives and management teams, women in business and the professions, case studies and successful deployments, public relations and marketing campaigns, product management, websites, blogs, white-papers, videos, advertisements, creativity, partner programs, and customer satisfaction programs from every major industry in the world.

Judges from a broad spectrum of industry voices from around the world participated and their average scores determined the 2021 award winners.

“We are proud to be recognized as an industry leader whose online recruiting platform has twice been named a gold winner by the Globee Awards this year,” says Joshua Siler, CEO. “Our vision is for everyone to achieve Hiring Happiness®. This recognition from the Globee Awards further validates our commitment to our customers.”

A Grand Globee® in the 2021 Business Excellence Awards

We’re thrilled to announce we were selected as a winner in the 6th Annual 2021 Business Excellence Awards.

We received a Grand Globee® and three Gold Globee® awards in the categories of Employer Excellence for Relocation, Work Remotely and Work from Home Opportunities; Employer Excellence of the Year | Cloud Computing/SaaS/Internet; and Milestone of the Year | Partners and Distribution Growth. Recognition for these awards shows a dedication to both team members and partner relationships.

“It’s an honor to receive recognition for delivering results to our channel partners, all while enjoying our unique company culture.” said Joshua Siler, CEO & Founder. “We believe in Hiring Happiness® not just for our customers, but for ourselves, too.”

Achievement on the Rise

“We had an unprecedented year, and it feels great to see that celebrated,” said HiringThing COO Jess Tejani in response to winning the “Achievement on the Rise” award in the Company of the Year category. “It’s proof of what’s possible when you hire a phenomenal team and a testament to why it’s our mission to empower our customers to find Hiring Happiness®.”

Hiring was the number one small business challenge in 2021, continuing into this year—a recent Goldman Sachs survey of 10,000 small businesses found every participating respondent had trouble hiring. Our private label applicant tracking system (ATS) allows our partners to help their customers with their top challenges.

While the HiringThing ATS is still available to direct clients, it is HiringThing’s private label capabilities that enabled this past year’s rise in achievement. HiringThing’s leadership saw the opportunity to pivot from catering primarily to direct users to the relatively untapped private label partnerships and decided to capitalize on that.

“Focusing on our private label solutions and partnerships has been a game-changer,” said Tejani. “It has allowed us to multiply how many organizations experience Hiring Happiness®.”

Platform as a Service

HiringThing also won the “Platform as a Service” award in the Product, Service, and Solution category since our modern recruiting Platform as a Service (PaaS) provides customers with a framework to add seamless recruiting capabilities to their solutions.

The applicant tracking system (ATS) market is crowded and primarily dominated by SaaS offerings. HiringThing stands apart from the competition by offering our private label partnership experience, empowering our partners with workflow customization, employer branding, a robust open API, and permissions that work best for their client base.

The value we place in our partnerships and agile engineering allows us to give our customers tools to succeed. A crucial part of empowering our customers to succeed is our trademarked Partner Perfection™. HiringThing’s marketing, sales, product, engineering, and customer success teams are available to ensure customers’ private label platform is used, valued, and driving business-growing revenue.

While we’re certainly in the business of recruiting and HR tech, HiringThing was co-founded and is currently steered by Founder and CEO Joshua Siler, himself a developer. The platform has always been technology-forward, and the decisions we make and functionalities we add are driven by a team with an engineer’s mindset.

“HiringThing’s robust tech platform and open API have filled a gap in the private label applicant tracking system market,” said HiringThing Founder and CEO Joshua Siler. “I’m humbled that the American Best in Business awards has recognized the importance of having a PaaS solution in the recruiting space and I know it’s this differentiator that has driven our recent success.”

Keeping the Streak Going: 2023 Tech Innovator of the Year

HiringThing feels very privileged to have a three-year-long winning streak for the esteemed Globee Awards, winning two in 2021 and two in 2022. This year, we decided to shake things up and enter a brand-new category: Tech Innovator of the Year: Product, which we won!

Building great technology products is one of our core values here at HiringThing, so this win is especially significant. “We’re first and foremost a product-driven company,” said HiringThing Director of Product Colette Luke, “so we are thrilled to be recognized for how ours stands out and helps our partners grow their businesses through revenue partnerships.”

The 8th Annual Globee Awards for American Business celebrates organizations with unparalleled performance across various business categories. This esteemed accolade recognizes outstanding customer service, innovation, leadership, and more accomplishments. The awards program embraces organizations of all sizes and industries, with participants ranging from startups to small, medium, and large corporations.

San Madan, President of Globee Awards, enthusiastically congratulated the winners, stating, “Congratulations to the exceptional winners of the 8th Annual 2023 Globee Awards for American Business. Your remarkable achievements and unwavering commitment to excellence have set new benchmarks in the industry. Each one of you has showcased unparalleled innovation, leadership, and perseverance, embodying the true spirit of American business.”

The rigorous judging process involved over 350 industry experts from around the world, representing diverse backgrounds and perspectives. The panel of judges can be found here.

“We’re the only recruiting solution on the market that is truly giving our customers the ability to grow their company through a bespoke applicant tracking system,” said HiringThing founder and CEO Joshua Siler. “That’s true tech innovation at work.”

HiringThing stands apart from other applicant tracking systems by offering white and private label partner experiences that empower clients with customization options, branding, and a robust open API. They allow organizations to develop proprietary recruiting solutions fast and to their specifications, giving these partners new revenue streams, market expansion opportunities, and ways for them to stand out in increasingly competitive markets.

We’re constantly innovating to empower our customers to solve hiring challenges in new ways. One product addition we’re particularly excited about is our AI-Enabled Job Descriptions. We surveyed our ATS end users and found it took nearly 60% of them over an hour to write a quality job description. This embedded feature lets users create unique, dynamic job descriptions in just minutes utilizing OpenAI’s GPT-3 technology that powers the much-buzzed-about ChatGPT.

Other recent enhancements include:

  • Our Partner Marketplace enables self-serve connections to third-party integrations—including asynchronous video tools, pre-assessment testing, and WOTC services—enabling seamless hiring experiences. Some new integration partners include Canvass video interviewing and Criteria Corp pre-employment assessments.
  • In-app tutorials guide users through key workflows to optimize the user experience, and our customer-facing knowledge base has been redesigned with a modern card layout and more intuitive navigation.
  • Job applicants can now reschedule or cancel their interviews, hiring managers can insert their names into message templates, and scorecards allow hiring teams to capture candidate reviews for the criteria most important to them.
  • API updates include new functionalities that allow integration partners to create Form Builder™ responses, fetch offer letters, sort custom fields, purchase job advertisements (singly or in bulk), sort/filter/search job boards by price, allow the addition of job salary fields and pay frequency to jobs, and allow the retrieval of all signed applicant documents under a company/account via API.
  • We added new API endpoints to manage integration partners in our Partner Marketplace by partner, to fetch all companies’ specific user access levels, and allow users to get all applicant and job tags on an account.
  • We’ve significantly expanded our Developer Program, enabling more integration partners to build integrations with our platform.
  • Regarding platform security, we’ve significantly improved our BCDR (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery), enhancements were made to email deliverability and page load times, and we migrated a new vulnerability scanner that enhances our visibility into vulnerabilities throughout third-party software libraries in use.

“We have big plans to expand our platform in 2023 to empower our users to grow their businesses with HiringThing in even more innovative ways,” Siler said. “We’ve been around for ten years, but feel like we’re just getting started.”
